Cask 1/3 pint, gravity dispense, at the 16th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival, Golden brown / pale brown colour. Fruity aroma, notes of currants and malt vinegar. Medium dry flavour, not sour but still with a hint of malt vinegar, bitter finish. Not impressed by this one.

Cask, shared with Finn at The Old House. Filmy layer blanketing the glass. Golden-brown in body colour. Roasted malt-fruity nose. Taste of dark caramel, toffee and pine neddles towards the ending. Decent bitter, a little thin on the swallow. (Hull 26.11.2015).

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 18th September 2015. Copper with off-white film and scant lacing. Pungent earthy aroma with tart citrus fruit. Leafy herbiness, earthiness and malts in-mouth. Bitter herbs in finish with a little fruitiness. Engaging texture and a fair amount of body.

Gravity poured half-pint on 26th Aug 2015 at the Peterborough Beer Festival. Mid brown with a tan coloured head, this malty and fruity brew tasted and smelled fine, some bitterness in the flavourings gave it a good feel overall and I liked the way the brew blended together.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours golden-amber with a foamy white head. A lovely little session beer, nicely hopped with nips of leaves and grass, understated dry pale malt sweetness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance on the finish, some dry pale malts, grass, citrus rind, straw. Good one.
