Cask-conditioned, at the Lime Kiln, Bristol, 2/10/2017. Golden in colour, with a tight, white, head. Floral hops, tangerine and mango fruits, some biscuity malts, leading to a dryish finish. Good.

Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, dry and minerally crisp. Dry thin pale malts, not that sweet. Floral hop, soapy streak. Mallinsons soap? I think so. Bitterish grapefruit, touch of orange. Dry minerally crisp finish. Disappointing. Mallinsons seemed to be gaining a cleanliness awhile back and their beers were much the better for it. Now going back to soapy affairs. Okay.

Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear gold lasting white head. Really good condition. Fresh on. Some of that onion you get with Ella. Some bitterness. Some citrus fruit. Rather drinkable.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 24 Apr 2015) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass, grapefruit and a touch of resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, grass, biscuity malt and a dry finish with a fresh citric, floral bitterness. Light body, quite dry. Highly drinkable, with a fresh hop character. Nice one.
