330ml Bottle - Golden yellow with a foamy white head. Lemon, straw, herbs and even some hints of tea and aniseed in the aroma. Herbal and hoppy taste with notes of lemon, aniseed, grass and some floral hints. Nicely balanced and very refreshing.

Im Glas sehr typisch, fahlgelb mit kräftiger feiner Perlage. Die weiße, fein- bis mittelporige Schaumkrone gibt sich flaumig und mäßig gut haltbar. Die Duftaromatik zeigt sich leicht getreidig-malzig, sowie sehr frisch und fruchtig mit zart zitrusartigen Hopfennoten. Im Antrunk sehr frisch, gut spritzig, zart malzig und fruchtig gehopft. Am Gaumen zeigt sich ein schlanker Körper und ein kräftiges Prickeln. Leicht malzig und überaus aromatisch, fruchtig und leicht trocken Hopfenherb. Viel mehr braucht ein gutes Pils auch gar nicht. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit sind in diesem Fall absolut gut. Da kann man nicht meckern. Dieses Bier wurde vor einigen Tagen auf einer Internetplatform als "bestes Pils" bezeichnet. So weit würde ich mich nun nicht aus dem Fenster lehnen, auch wenn es wirklich gut ist. Im Nachtrunk zeigt dieses Pils seine vielleicht stärkste Seite. Malzige und fruchtig-herbe Noten bauen relativ rasch ab und zunehmends macht sich eine leicht trockene Herbe breit, die letztendlich in eine unendlich scheinende überaus angenehm grasige Hopfenaromatik aufgeht. Fazit: "bestes Pils" ist nun mal so eine subjektive Sache - richtig gut ist es auf jeden Fall!

Bottle from vending machine at this 9 space campsite, Petting, just south of Waging am See, about to cook Chicken, Chorizo and New Potato Traybake. Pours clear gold with a fast disappearing white head. Nice but a little bit shyer than I'd like on the bitterness front and also that head really disappears so quickly. Some dryness, a little fruitiness, good.

Bottle. Pours light golden, white head. Clean and strong hoppy flavor. Nice bitterness. A bit flat.

16oz bottle pours a mostly clear starbright yellow with a little swirling white head. Nose has grist, honey, flowers. Nose is a bit mild. Flavor has honey and grains and grist and flour and flowers. Finishes off dry. Fine.
