Can from Simon Cheeseboard. Danke. Aroma has light pulpy peach with a vinous streak. Underlying dough or sommat. Hazy peach. Thin white head recedes to the rim. Medium sour. Vinous. Salty. Herbs. Is there peach? Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Underpowered but inoffensive.

Can from Cheeseboard. Dissipating off white head left a vivid orange juice coloured still body. Earthy, herbal & zesty aroma. Medium to thin bodied, sharp dry & clean. Tangerine, lemon, sherbet, zesty & sour tastes with saline on the finish. Sharp.

Shared can with minutemat on 18th October 2023, my plaice. Cheers Cheeseboard for three new rates from Rutland that you sent to minutemat. 440ml can best before 15th August 2024. Hazy dull orange, no head worthy of the name. Peaches, lemons and grapefruits all appear in the nose and taste, not really my sort of beer.

440ml can shared with blackhaddock, cheers to cheeseboard for this. Hazed orange appearance, white head. Peachy for sure, with a gosey lacto sourness.. some salt detected adding a tangy hint. Not bad.

Can online from the brewery. Pours opaque orange with a dissipating fizzy translucent head. Aroma: citric, light peach. Taste: light to moderate sour, tangy, peach, lime zest, little bash of salt on the finish. Medium body with spritzy carbonation.

Cask at Reading BF. Hazy deep gold with thin white head. Tastes surprisingly like a Belgian wheat beer - yeasty, bready, a little lemon, a touch of spice. Didn't get a lot of the peach that was meant to be in it. However, on the the plus side, I'm not normally a fan of wheat beers but I quite liked this - there's none of the fake banana I sometimes get in wheat beers, and there's a pleasant bitterness that balances it well. Overall, a positive start to this BF, especially as it's an all too rare Rutland rate.

14/3/2019. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Pours cloudy pale yellow gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sour peach, citrus, hops, yeast, flowers and herbs. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Light to moderate body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Ok.

Gravity cask at Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Golden and hazy without any noticeable head. Lemony, yeasty aroma. There's some peach but only as an afterthought. Tastes mostly sweet with a spicy yeast character and a light sourness nearer to the finish. Oily body with no discernable carbonation. I'm finding it a little hard to get overly excited about this one but it's solid enough.
