For this beer, brewed in early Spring 2018, we filled our coolship with dandelion flowers from our garden. It was fermented with our wild (native) houseculture in red wine barrels. The grain bill consists of malted barley, raw wheat, and raw spelt. Bottled October 30, 2018.

10 August 2019. At Belgian Beer Geek Tasting. Cheers to the crew, thanks for hosting, Tim! Hazy orange, lasting, thin, unstable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of marijuana, flowers, grass, mellow orange & mango, herbs, cheese, wheat, bread. Taste is medium fruity sour, gooseberry & lemon pairing with sweetish orange, bread & honey, quite a wheaty character but not yet soapy. Flowery, almost hashish-like in the back, next to bitter herbs, grass & pepper. Dryish, earthy hoppy finish, lingering wheat, orange peel, subtle bretty effects. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Unusual combination of flavours here, nice.

750 ml bottle, bottled Oct 30 2018. Orange, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, yellowish head. Aroma of flowers, grass, dough, wheat, some citrus, some wine. Tastes similar, with the honey a bit more prominent. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, moderate dry, floral, wheaty, doughy, fruity, citric, a bit vinous. Tasty. Characterwise a quite classic Saison, with the wine barrel quite subtle. The flowers are very well integrated, leading to more freshness. Beautiful, balanced and very refreshing stuff. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16
