Bottle. Etre. Dark, cola brown. Light haze. Dense halo of tan head. Nose has red wine dregs. Liquorice. Soft savoury notes. Dark chocolate. Taste is well balanced, lightly smoky sweetness, and tangy, vinous, dry and roast bitterness. Medium body. Drinks well under the ABV. Fine, brisk carbonation. Lingering vinous bitterness to finish. Nice one.

Oak Tannins, red wine, mild funky yeast, plums, dates, and lightly funky. Body is a tad lighter but acceptable. Pretty good.

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media e persistente. Al naso note di caffè, cuoio, vino rosso, prugne. In bocca è morbida, dolce all'attacco con lieve acidità e un bel carattere vinoso, forse manca un pizzico di struttura. Interessante.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brown/black with a foamy beige head. Aroma of wood, earth, tart dark fruit. Med plus body. Flavor is tart dark fruit, dark malt, earth, wood. Dryish. Bitter? Or Tart? Definitely not a sweet ale. Seems to be a bit of mustiness in the wood. Far, far from BFM BA ale, but there's a hint of BFM in this. Pretty tasty stuff.

27 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Deputy Taster: Anke. Cheers to Ama Deke, Erwin, John & Meeki! Hazy dark brown, lasting, very thin, tan head. Aroma of liqueur-drenched cherries, marzipan, fondant, toast, wood, earth, balsamic vinegar. Taste is medium fruity sour, lots of sour cherries & berries, unripe red grapes, vague balsamic vinegar, bit malty sweet, hinting at chocolate & nuts (almond), bitter tones of coffee roast, toast & wood. Dryish, malty, slightly earthy hoppy finish, lingering toast, dried fruits & wood, some warming alcohol (coffee liqueur, red wine). Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Very good ‘fusion’, made me think of Verzet’s Kameradski Balsamico, but the fruity, woody character is stronger here, of course.

Flaska från SB. Mörkt brunröd vätska med lågt beige skum. Mycket vin- och fattoner. Trä, tobak, plommon, druvor, lite torv. Snygg med sin friska lite syrliga inledning men eftersmaken är lite fadd och väl träig. Ok+

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of sour cherries, vinous wood and soft wet malts. Soft flavors of same. Very soft. Nice but overt subtle.

20/04/2019 @home - 33cl bottle from Malt Attacks Dark brown colour with small tanned head. Nose is dark malts, forest fruits, red wine. Taste is soft roasted malts, forest fruits, dry red wine, soft roast.
