Elder sister of our Fraîcheur, it is too strong to be drunk during the day, hence «La Fraîcheur du Soir» (evening cool). A double wheat beer, i.e. brewed with about twice the amount of grain used for its little sister, containing pilsner malt, unmalted wheat and oats grown at the foot of the Jura mountains, cilantro, bitter orange peel, Magnum, Tettnanger and Spalter Select hops, fermented with a Belgian witbier yeast, and bottle conditioned, unfiltered and unpasteurised.

By nature a full-bodied beer, with a lovely initial sweet edge, a solid fruitiness, a sharp touch and citrus and spicy notes leading to a moderate final bitterness, La Fraîcheur du Soir will appeal to both casual drinkers looking for an easy-to-drink yet tasty beer and seasoned beer buffs looking for intensity and complexity. It goes perfectly with many desserts ans strong cheeses.

Flaska på Söder om Småland, Malmö. En storleken större veteöl med fina söta aromer och smaker, främst lite vaxig honung men också söta äpplen, citrus och mandel. Trevlig och fin lång ganska komplex eftersmak.

0.355l bottle @ Baran. This is a really heavy bottle! Holding it when it's empty I keep on pouring it over my glass expecting something to come out. Anyhow, it has at first a quite clear yellow golden body but when you get to the bottom it gains a more and more cloudy momentum. It also has a medium sized bright white lingering and soft lacing top. Mild nose really. Wheat sweetness with hay, dried orange zest and some naked human skin. A light sweet candy sweetness also. In the mouth it has a light almost cloudy mouthfeel and it's just about average on the bubbles. Tastes alright. I get a good amount of white wine grapes here. Lots of hay and wheat with a peppery herbal touch. Soft fruity all the way and it's quite tasty this. All in all a bit different but nice. 24.01.2014

Bottle, 7%. CO2 aroma. Cloudy pale yellow colour. Good stable chalk white head. The flavour is citric at first, turning wheaty, then citric again. It occurs to me that the citrus comes from grapefruity hops, and not lemon peel. Ends on a boozy note, dry and fruity. This is more like an IPA to me, and not so bad at that.

Bottle from Embrouille - thank you so much! Pours hazy pale straw with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast, grain aof hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with estery notes and sourish touches. Bitter and sour aftertaste. Ok, though the taste of alcohol becomes dominating.

A hazed golden wit with a thin white head. In aroma, a lightly sour acidic malt with fruity esters, sour cherries. In mouth, a nice fruity malt with light epsom salts, light berry sourness, nice and smooth. Bieropholie import, tasted May 13 2012.

bouteille 75cl. Br.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is coriander, wheat and mild sourness. Flavour is spices, acidic wood, wheat and some sugary notes. Otherwise ok, but a bit thin and sweet.
