Our Sourdough Pale uses delicious, zesty sourdough loaves in the beer.
Added hops enhance the aroma but don't overpower with bitterness. A perfect session ale.

Bottle from Waitrose, Saxmundham. Golden with a small head and a light carbonation. Fairly bitter in design with a fairly ordinary aroma in this respect, it's hoppy with some breadiness in its taste.

Bottle from Waitrose. Bright gold in colour with a lasting white head and a light to middling fizz. Lemon, white bread, straw and a hint of white pepper. Good balance of bitter, sweet and dry. A very decent bitter actually.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose Canary Wharf. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, pleasant bready pale malts, nips of lemony hops, straw, biscuits. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, further pale bread, crackers, pale grains, hay, nips of grass. Very pleasant beer.

500ml bottle from a local Waitrose: BB Feb 2022. Drank at home on 12th Mar 2021. Very pale light golden body, clean and clear; thin, wispy and weak white head. Dough in the nose and a malty ester or two, taste is also bread malty first, some light hop bitterness arrives mid-sip. Pleasant enough, without getting me too excited.
