Can from Buxton Webshop, had this at home Saturday 20th July 2019 whilst cooking Pollastre amb Bolets in the wood oven and listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6 Music. Pours light/mid gold with a white head. It's a good beer however after an Axe Edge it's a lacking just a little. Middling bitterness, some pithy citrus, s touch dry on the finish. Good.

Can from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham and shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a hazy golden straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, light lemon lime tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a fresh, crisp, malty, light citrus, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg at the Axe - Stokey. Pours lightly haze down yellow with a dense, creamy white head. Bright juicy lemon character, soft bitter pine needles and citrus rind, some grapefruit, supportive pale malts. Light to medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, present pale malts, more lemony hop character. Nice.

440ml can. Slightly hazy pale gold, white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, orange, grapefruit. Taste is light and citrusy, zesty, orange, grapefruit, light malts. Medium body. Pleasant but rather average beer from two top tier breweries, nothing exciting here.

Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A clean and crisp hoppy brew. Pleasant to drink.
