Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Dark brown black beer. Lasting tan head. Rich fruit cake aroma. Rich in the mouth. Smooth in mouth. some dryness on finish hides abv with just a hint of heat on the finish. Good fruit cake character. yep decent enough.

Creamylightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter roasted flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Great.

Bottle @home. Bruna intensa, con schiuma avorio/ecrù media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di toffee, caramello, luppolo, liquirizia. In bocca è maltata, caramello, liquirizia, con chiusura amara abbastanza decisa. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Non male.

On tap at Bootleggers Frederiksberg. Dark, dark chestnut brown with a lasting off-white head. Deep malty aroma with toffee, rye bread, toast, nuts and dried fruit. Sweet, rich malty flavour with a fine balance of sweetness and bitterness and alcohol.

Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma roasted malt, citrus, hops, caramel. Taste is the same, bitter, roasted, malt, citrus, long bitter dry aftertaste, slight alcohol. nice.

12 ounce bottle. Bottled exactly one year ago today on 3/08/2021. Opaque brown color. Small creamy beige head. Earthy roasted malt aroma. Intense, bittersweet roasted malt flavor hints at bittersweet chocolate, roasted grain and rye whiskey. Even after a year, a bit rough on the palate.

Bottle/Fest. A- Malty, caramel, faintly fruity. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Caramel, woody, fruity, bitter. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A bit more aggressive and less sweet American style. I think this would age well.

Bottle from Beer Hop, London. A dark brown coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee, caramel, dark fruit aroma/taste. This is quite bitter but it really grows on you. Decent effort.
