Old notes from Nov 2014 - A gift from a Welsh workmate. Pours a straw coloured blonde ale with a small white head. Aromas of vanilla created according to the bottle by Czech & German hops. A drinkable enough pint but without anything special.

(Cask at Gallow's Bird Real Ale Festival 2020) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small, white and it lasted long. Aroma had earth, malts and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, earth, malts, lightly sweetness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy, sweet and bitter. A different but tasty pale ale with grassy notes.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a light (hoppy?) haze. Slim white head. Nose - orange shred. Light malt bag thing. Taste - orange and malt again. Palate - tangy start, middle and end. Dry malty generally. Overall - not what it says on the tin.
