8/IV/20 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: n/a, bottled: 14/I/19 (2020-310)
Clear dark brown to black beer, big solid creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice roast, very malty, grains, hay, some cow fodder, very rural impression, slightly sweet notes, soft oxidation, some molasses. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice roast up front, slightly sweet, very malty, some coffee, bit acidic as well, more roast, good bitterness. Aftertaste: dry, malty, roasted, some coffee, slightly sweet. Lovely stuff!
Paired with salade caprese, great pairing.

Dark brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of roasted grains, honey, pralines. Taste is mildly bitter, with the roasted character gaining intensity at the finish. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Good.
