ABV: 6.5%. Clear dark red colour with a average to large (initial), fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, pink head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, barnyard, leather, funk, berries, elderberries, wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, funky, elderberies, barnyard, leather, oak, tart - sour, dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20240330]

Bottle. A- Berry, wine, slightly sour. A- Dark ruby color, clear liquid, fizzy pink head. T- Grape, berry, vinous, tart, mild funk. P- Medium body, average texture, high carbonation, tart finish. O- Nice. Not sure I got elderberry flavor but I guess it's almost blackberry-ish. Not sure of the age of the bottle. Tasty.

Vintage 20-21. Hazy deep red, quickly thinning, off-white head. Aroma of elderberry, blueberry, berry skins, musty cellar, old blue grape, yoghurt, vague iodine, wet wood. Taste has very sour juicy blueberry, perfumey elderberry with a herbal effect, some funky vinegar, yoghurty lactic acid and musty cellar. Very tart, berry-like finish, nicely balancing bitter & dry berry skin, woody tannins and juicy, lactic elderberry. Medium body, moussy texture, average carbonation. Deeply fruity, woody, complex.

8-4-8-4-16 Bottle, eight years before bbd. Pours ruby red, with a creamy, red head. Aroma is tart notes of hay, farmhouse and fruity notes of dark berries and floral brett, as well as funky notes and wooden barrels. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes with hay, berries, apples and bretty floral notes, as well as farmhouse notes, some funky tannins and wooden barrels. Nice semi dry finish with lingering fruity minerals.

Bottle: Poured a dark purple-ish color lambic with a medium dark pink color head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some funky ester and some powerful notes of elderberries. Taste is also a mix of funky ester with some ok and tart notes with some huge elderberry notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Soldi fruited lambic with plenty fo fruits.

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Clear Ruby colour lasting pink head. Good fruity authentic aroma. More fruit in the flavour. Good sour finish. Yes the fruit is excellent. Proper sourness on finish. Good.

Panda at home, post tasting thanks to Daniel and Dave for the muling, 08/02/23. Deep claret pour with a thin crimson covering. Nose is tarte berries, funk, light fecal tones, hedgerow, damp wood, berry pips. Taste comprises light acidic ripple, funk, sharp red berries, tarte fruits, vinous, balanced acidic twinge, damp hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced acidic spike. Solid. Also split a bottle at Muted Horn, Berlin, 23/07/22 with the Wingmane. Also raked 4.0.
