Cloudy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of date, prune, cherry, dark fudge, vanilla custard, mocha, melting chocolate. Taste has sweet date, prune & cherry over chocolatey, brownie- & fudge-like maltiness; touch of creamy mocha. Earthy hoppy finish, more fondant and dried fruit, somewhat roasted; warming whisky-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Balanced, and luxuriously tasty.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is roasty, vanilla. Mild on the cherry. Taste is full, roasty, cherry is mild, some vanilla. Mild coffee. Fairly fullbodied. Typical cycle base. Enjoyable, but not very specific.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots of caramel malts, grains, some hay, cow fodder, alcohol, some whisky. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol, bitter, good roast, alcohol, sweet, bit sugary, decent. Aftertaste: sweet, dark chocolate, very bitter, a bit resinous, good roast, alcohol, whisky, very nice one!

Noire huile de moteur, léger huileux doré au verre, col blanc-cassé presque moka.
Arôme est marqué sur les malts avec pas mal de chocolat et de torréfie/café, retrouve un effet cerise en retrait.
Palais est épais dans la lignée des gros stouts impériaux US ) ici, place au café, moka, note fruitée de cerise, palais est sec avec un retour d'un côté dark malts, crystal, carafa.
In fine, bel essai qui pourrait s’apparenter à une grande classique de chez Bell's - Cherry Stout.

On tap at BA Day. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is cocoa, roast, cherry, nutty, cinnamon. Slick body, roasted malt, chocolate covered cherry, nice sweetness, boozy finish, enjoyed this.

Backlog. MBCC 2018. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of cherries, dark chocolate, subtle coffee, vanilla. Taste has cherry, soapy notes, candy-like sweetness, chocolate, vanilla. Weird.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Nathan. Pours black-brown with a foamy beige head. Great beer, lots of brownies, chocolate, light chilli, berries. Full bodied, oily and lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with notes of rocky road. Delicious.

Bottle, 650 ml at Arrogant Sour tasting. Courtesy of Italian friends. Black with brownish head. Thick chocolate, some cherries, bourbon, cherries underneath, oily, cocoa, sweet. Warming. Medium to full bodied.

Draught @ MBCC 2018, Blue Session
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa and a hint of raspberry and coffee. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long chocolate, cocoa, raspberry, roasted and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
