Unser Bamberger Hofbräu® Rauch ist ein echtes Bier der Gegensätze: es ist edel und bodenständig, malzbetont und fruchtig, samtig und dennoch erfrischend. Die fränkische Bierspezialität ist leuchtend bernstein- bis kupferfarben. Das feine Raucharoma ist elegant eingebettet in die angenehmen Caramelmalznoten von Toffee, Biskuit und Honig. Die Harmonie von Rauch und Süße wird perfekt von der dezenten Hopfung des Bieres ergänzt. Unser Rauch ist ein echter Glücklichmacher.
Es passt perfekt zu deftigen fränkischen Speisen, wie Schäuferla, oder zu frischem Camembert.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before December 2025. Clear, amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky aroma of caramel, nuts and smoked ham. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently smoky taste of caramel, smoked ham, nuts and traces of sauerkraut, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry and minimally salty finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Rauchbier, quite mellow.

Clear amber beer, small creamy white head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, super smoky, beech wood smoke, a hint of peated smoke, some campfire, a bit of ripe banana. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, nice, good smoky flavour, malty, grains, more smoke, a little bitter, lots of ripe banana. Aftertaste: banana peel, a little bitter, malty, caramel, pretty smoky, grains, more sweetness, ok.

Clear amber, white foam. Beautiful smoky nose, notes of red fruit, smoke, caramel, toast. Great Rauchbier.
Intense smoke, easy to drink, malt. Grain. Caramel, moderate bitterness. Nice peated in the end, fruity malty with a hint of smoke.

Clear amber beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of smoked caramelized malt, nuts. Taste of smoked red malt, caramel, pine.

Bamberger Hofbräu Rauch, Fläschchen aus dem Weyermann Shop, BA. - Kupferrot, blank. - In der Nase sattes aber rundes Rauchmalz, Schinkenbrot, karamelsüßes Wiener Malz, abgerundet mit feiner orangenfruchtig-herbaler Hopfung. - Antrunk satt toastmalzig mit schöner, nicht überwältigender Rauchnote, gefolgt von leicht orangenfruchtiger Karamelsüße mit Anklängen an Honig. Die sehr milde herbale Hopfung kommt gegen die Malzsüße nicht an. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang zart rauchig und sehr mild hopfenherb. - Gefälliges, mild rauchiges und schön malzsüßes Rauchbier. Tut keinem weh. (24.10.2023.)

330 ml bottle. Almost clear amber red with a big fluffy head. Smoked ham and salmon, iron, metal, caramel. Malty sweetness, some umami, slightly sour. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry smoky bittersweet finish. Decent Rauchbier without any highlights.

Light brown with a fleeting, foamy head. Mild campfire aroma. Caramel. Taste is mildly sweet on a lightish and somewhat watery body. Beyond the pleasant caramel flavor, not much to speak about. Moderate to prickly carbonation. Simple but okay.

Bottle. Pale amber color. Fresh cheese and smoke in the aroma. Malty bready flavor with fresh smoked cheese and a hint of beechwood. Peach. Pleasant.
