Golden to amber, pretty clear despite the hefetrub caption. Medium to big sized white head, quite dense at least per style, shows good retention and very nice lacing. A far from perfect aroma: lightly perceptible malty base, a bit of honey, a relatively dominant apple-like fruitiness (perhaps a hint of acetaldehyde?), a touch of diacetyl (not at unpleasant levels). Overall not an unpleasant aroma though, with a pleasant warming hint to it. Tastes better: a delicate malty base of cerealy, slightly caramelly malts, light honey notes with flowery hints (chamomille), a hint of apple-like frutiness, a touch of warming feel (well hidden alcohol). Medium to high sweetness, relatively low, tastewise neutral bitterness; beer feels sweet but overall well balanced with a relatively dry finish. Medium body, low to medium delicate carbonation, feels overall pleasantly smooth and slightly oily, very drinkable with a pleasant hint of fullness. Overall impression: slightly different heller bock, not exactly flawless but very enjoyable.

Bottle from Frank. Many thanks! Hazy amber colour, white foam. Sweet, malty, but also dry and bitter hoppy finish. Exceptional Heller Bock.

Tap at HopDog. Mostly clear, amber. Wooden vanilla boozy bubblegum. Taste is lovely edgy, at the same time fluffy. Full body, crunchy. Not bad.

On tap at Zapfhan Bamberg. Clear dark amber colour lasting off white head. Malty aroma. I mean that is good. Nail you to your seat good. It has everything. Aroma mouthfeel so soft yet present all the time. Bitter bit not harsh. Great carbonation. Malty flavour of biscuits and light cake. Hides abv so well. Beer of the day no doubt. Stunned. So stunned.

Huge thanks to whoever brought it to the tasting! Hazy amber, lightly coppery body, whtie head. Pleasant full malty aroma, lightly flowery and yeasty, similar taste - elegant maltiness, slightly caramelly, with decent backup from the flowery hops and a touch of yeastiness. Class, and I can see it being fantastic on tap.

500ml Bottle - Golden/light amber with a slight haze. Orange, grass, hay and some faint biscuity notes in the aroma. Citrussy and bready taste with notes of lemon, orange, sultanas and a hint of caramel. An excellent bock.

500 ml bottle, bb 07/03/18, from Landbierparadies, Nürnberg.
Golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grains, flowers, fresh herbs, hay, bread, some sweet fruits, slight honey.
Tastes similar, with some more biscuit.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, medium dry, hoppy, floral, herbal, grainy, slightly zesty, subtly sweet, with some bread, some honey.
Very nice. Hoppy and grainy, while also with an underlying sweet, creamy body. Alcohol is completely hidden. Although my bottle isn't the freshest, this is still a very quaffable, greatly balanced Bock.

Bottle from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Slightly unclear golden with a creamy, white head. Nutty and malty with some grains and herbs. A bit of horse blanket towards the finish. Doesn't seem completely right, although it doesn't taste bad.
