330ml can early morning of 28th Apr 2017. Just finished working at a beer festival and needed a cold beer once I got home: this will be the first of many (well three or four anyway). Slight haze to the light golden pour, full white crown. Grassy and malty nose, malts lead the way flavour wise too, balanced by some piney and citrusy hop notes.

Can. Asda. Lightly hazy gold. Film and ring of lasting, white head. Nose has standard sweet malts and grassy, lightly spicy hop. Taste is mostly sweet. Some privet leaf type bitterness. Clean palate. More of the grassy, spicy thing on the finish. Ok.

Keg @ Bank, Manchester. Golden in colour with a thin head. There’s some fruitiness to the lager styled ale.

Keg at the Swan, Broadway. Deep gold, negligible head and a light fizz. Light floral and satsuma notes up front, a little lemon and then a light grassy finish. Little if any bitterness and the flavours are on the mild side, but it’s clean, crisp and refreshing. I’m no fan of lagers normally but I enjoyed this one.

Can at home in London - picked up at Offie and Toffee. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds pale grains, light citrus peel, cereal, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with more crunchy grains, simple pale bread, light bitter straw, husk, faint grass, lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced on the finish, with more pale grains, biscuit, grass, rind, hay. A decent lager overall.
