Im Glas findet sich ein sehr helles Gelb wieder. Wenig feine Perlage steigt hoch. Die weiße, fein- bis mittelporige Schaumkrone macht einen etwas wässerigen, aber einigermaßen gut haltbaren Eindruck. Die Duftaromatik zeigt sich schön grasig hopfenbetont, ohne dabei wirklich herb zu wirken. Eine zarte Malznote scheint da ganz gut mitzuspielen. Im Antrunk angenehm spritzig, frisch und fruchtig bis kräuterartig herb. Am Gaumen deutlich aromatisch bis leicht säuerlich hopfenherb mit einer leichten Malznote und irgendwo im Hintergrund auch leicht süßlich hinterlegt. So kommt es dem Typ ganz typisch schlank daher. Der Körper passt also durchaus und das Trinkgefühl ist unter anderem aufgrund der weichen Rezenz als ganz gut zu beschreiben. Im Abgang kommt kurz eine leicht Süße auf, die aber in wenigen Sekunden von einer deutlichen Hopfenherbe überrollt wird. Für ein Pils aus Bayern überraschend kräftig und herb gehopft, aber dennoch ganz gut!

Bottle at Salve Italian Restaurant/Pizza place, near Biervana, Munich, Schwabing-West, Thursday 24th June 2021. Pours gold with a white head, soft moutheel, bitterness is there but it's a slow burner, malty, sweet and then dry, super nice.

Bottle from Clapton Craft, Kentish Town on 9th March 2021. Pours clear gold with quickly diminishing white foam and almost no lacing. Sweet malts and hoppiness in aroma. Crisply hoppy in-mouth, with nuttiness and grassy notes. Tangy citrus finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear pale gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is grassy, leafy, biscuit, sweet doughy bread, floral accents and spice. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, clean, grass, leaf, peppery spice, white bread, biscuit, airy malts and some light florals. Finish is firm and dry. Lighter end of medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Crazy clean and crispy. Quenching and refreshing. Really enjoyed it.

Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Pale straw gold. Wisp of white. Clean grain and soft sourness. Pinch of herbal hop leaf. Clean on the palate too. Modest carbonation for the style. Mineral bitterness. Nice pils.

A nice clean pils, medium flavour, a showcase of german pils malt, low bitterness as usual, noble hops. d&S Dresden

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of cereal, hay and raw potato. Flavour of apricot, herbs and a hint of white pepper. Thin to medium body with smooth mouthfeel. Light fizz. Quite a full body for a Pilsener. Overall it’s fine but lacking the desired crispness of flavour.

330ml bottle: BBD 7th May 18 (from Beers of Europe). Poured into an old 'Veltins' badged 0.2 litre tulip glass twice. Pale golden body, clean, clear and bright: fast fading white head on both pours. Grassy, herbal aroma with a slight maltiness. The taste is hop first, dry and refreshing, the malts them come out to play before the hops take over again in the finish. Just had a two hour walk with the dog, so needed something like this to quench my thirst, and it did.
