Bottle picked up from Getränke Degenhart, Grafenau and consumed at home Thursday 21st March 2024 about to have the Chilli con Carne from last night, as we had the Spaghetti Bolognese instead last night. Listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music it's Round Table. Pours hazy yellow with a huge frothy white head, soft mouthfeel, very wheaty. A little yeasty and a little bit of dried orange peel, could do with a little more depth but otherwise ticking all the right boxes.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden to orange amber, white head. Aroma: Yeasty, wheat malt, fruity banana and citrus. Taste: Wheat malt, yeasty, lemon and banana notes, coriander notes towards and at the finish. Moderate sweet, light sourness, very light bitterness. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Hints of minerals. A little lemonade-like. Mwah.

Amber with a frothy head that lingers. Banana and orange peel aroma. Plenty of dough-like sweetness up front, never really turns bitter, just melds into something more mineralic, finishing with both clay and strong banana notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry, sticky, leaves you thirsty. Lacks the depth of a better Weizen. Drinkable though.

0,5 l bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Murky orange golden in the glass with a nearly two finger very foamy head. Wheat and yeast smell with orange, little bit dry. Taste starts watery, little bit caramel, wheat and yeast, less fruity. Thin. Above average carbonated.

500 ml bottle. Pours cloudy bright orange, small head. Yeast, grain, a bit banana. Mild taste, sweetish and estery. Average carbonation, light bodied. Watery texture. Dull and boring (mass produced industrial?) Weizen.
