440ml can from Coracle, Ironbridge. Pours a hazed dark colour, good cream coloured head. Aroma of mild roast, charred pine. Taste presents a wonderfully balanced, flavoursome black IPA, just the right amount of pine / roast interplay, with a teasing hop sweetness, great drinkability.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours deep brown with a frothy, beige head. Medium sweet with a nice balance of burnt pine, grapefruit and cocoa, some orange, raisins, toasted malts. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Light resin to finish, sturdy roast, sweet dark fruits, berries, raisins, chocolate, citrus rind. A really solid CDA.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A dark black / mahogany brown coloured pour with a tidy loose mid tan head. Aroma is big woody tar, liquorice, sticky pine sap, bitter pine, little bark. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded brown bread, toasted malts, liquorice, jammy pine, woody sap, sticky pine, sabro notes. Palate is semi sweet, sticky pine sap, rounded, moderate carbonation. Nice ashy finish. Xolid BIPA

Draft @ Beergium Bar anniversary.
Brune foncée, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme est frais, malté grillé, caramel avec une pointe de grillé - petite note presque de cacao - rétro fin houblonné agrumes - herbacé léger.
Palais est bien malté avec cette balance de grillé-caramel oscillant vers une approche anglaise et les houblons - ici plus sur les agrumes. Le palais reste assez poudreux en fin de bouche.
Classique avec une revisite américaine comme cela se faisait il y a qcq années - mais il manque juste un petit plus pour la rendre encore meilleure.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 25/09/21. Black with a good sized khaki cap that stays for the show. Nose is bitter roast, pine dusting, bitter tropicana, ashen notes, charr. Taste comprises bitter tropical fruit esters, trace of lime, pine needle, dark malts, light roast, charr, cocoa powder, dried red berries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close peppered with Sabro laden earthy hop bitterness. Solid CDA.
