A mixed culture fermented golden sour beer, utilising two ultra-fruity strains of brettanomyces, co-fermented with our house kveik, a landrace yeast from Norway which produces intense apricot and stone fruit esters.

This beer was naturally soured during extended fermentation with a strain of lactobacillus lovingly named ‘peaches’.

Packaged completely unhopped and unfruited to let this tropical fruit bomb house culture sing.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours mostly clear honey-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with a bit of throwback acetic twang, lemony bite, subtle funk, white grape, old wood. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Pretty clean to finish, nicely rounded, modest citric acidity, balanced sweetness. Good stuff overall.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazed gold. Decent white foam is sticky and lightly leggy. Nose has peach stone. Zested lemon and lime. Some pulped apricot. Taste is pretty sweet, with a soft, stone fruit acidity. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Fine massaging carbonation. Tart and juicy finish. Can’t ask for much more from a none barrel aged sour.
