Bottle at home. A remarkably good pour, but that tell tale aroma of raw malt. This is an old school AF beer, all malt and not much else. Best avoided

Grainy dry beginning. Bready back, fruity malty with a slightly fruity finish. Hints of Ale bitterness, lots of grain over a malty dry body. Nice but “too alcohol-free”-bready in taste.

Bottle from Black Horse. Deep amber colour with an off white head. Quite sweet, slight sickly. Light body.

Bottle from Sainsbury's. Pours clear copper with a thin off-white head. Aromas of creamy malt and stewed tea. Light sweet watery taste. Thin finish.

Bottle from Sainsbury's - bought this to celebrate my Dad's birthday with him as he loves his traditional bitters but is not allowed to drink at present. When initially poured it looks ok - amber-bronze with a white head. However, the head vanishes almost instantly and the beer goes flat. And it all goes downhill from there. There's Heinz tomato soup (which I detest as a soup, let alone in a beer), that fake sugar stuff you get in diet drinks, fake caramel syrup, and stewed tea (sadly without the bitterness or dryness of stewed tea, which could have helped a bit). Some fruitiness emerges, but it's of a rotten apple variety. The whole thing is too sweet and it's pretty thin. We split this four ways thankfully, but I struggled even to drink that much. All four of us hated this, and it made me feel physically sick. Truly and utterly repulsive; avoid this. Sorry Dad for making you drink this on your birthday.

31/8/2020. Bottle from Morrison's, Ipswich. Opens with a gush. Actually looks really nice in the glass, clear amber bronze with a moderate size long-lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, toffee, touch of hop, fruit and veg. Heavy sweetness, light metallic bitterness. Moderate body, fair bit of carbonation. Sweet and malty toffee finish. Not terrible.

Clear 500ml bottle; BBE Jul 2020. Drank at my parents on 11th Feb 2020. Clean and clear amber body, off-white wispy head after an initial healthy billowing blanket that faded swiftly. malty feel to the nose and taste, light hop notes, but you can tell it's 'low alcohol' which is a shame.

[50cl bottle from Morrison’s, Bracknell.] A copper coloured pour with a thin yellow head; earthy aroma that’s very similar to the standard version but slightly more malty; thin in the mouth with a sweet malty taste and some burnt caramel; and a sweet earthy malt finish. Started well, but failed to finish.

Bottle from Morrisons, Eccles. Clear copper with a small head and a small carbonation. Malty version of the popular brew, but pretty good as a low-alcochol product.
