Taking inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter, we wanted to brew a truly sessionable London Porter.
What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to make it nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.
The beer brings together the rich history and heritage of London Porters, with the modern techniques of brewing nitro beers. The result is a beer that is easy drinking, without sacrificing its character.

5/7/2024. Keg at 27th Festival of Beer and Brewing, Stowmarket. Pours clear very dark brown with a small creamy frothy off-white to beige head. Good pour. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, caramel, touch ashy and nutty. Nicely done, for a modest abv.

Tap at a Jamie Oliver restaurant in Covent Garden. Black with a stable cream head. Bittersweet with American caramel-y chocolate, firmish roast some dark berries. A little too sweet for me, but good. Not as good as The Porter but thereโs a much bigger market for this.

470ml can, nitro. Jet black pour with a smooth creamy beige head that lasts the duration. Aroma of chocolate, roast malts, coffee, hints of dried fruits. Taste is roasty, chocolate, dark/dried fruits, coffee, biscuit, dry bitter finish. Medium-ish bodied, extremely smooth and creamy. For a sessionable porter they've pretty done an excellent job.

Draught @ Bootleggers, Odense. Pours Black with a creamy head. Soft and chewy. Slight roast, ashes, chocolste and coffee cream. Tasty.

Draught@Pikkulintu Kontula, Helsinki. Black colour with a small off-white beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, some nutty, mild floral, dried fruity and roasted tones. Flavour is nutty, some dried fruits, mild toasted and roasted notes with some slight wooden and toasted tones.

Pint at the brewery in Bermondsey. Fucking dead on. Creamy black pint, two fingers of beige head. Sweet nose. Licorice. Malty. Caramel. Toast. Creamy and basically dry on the finish. 8 4 8 4 13

Tap at Prague Beer Fest Day 0. Blackish body, off-white head. Caramel, nutty notes in the aroma, light dried fruit. Creamy taste, nutty, light citric hoppiness rounding things out, lean in the back, but well balanced overall. Good stuff!
