Bottle from Mleczko, Reading. Dark brown with a beige head. There's an initial flavour of kvass - rye bread, dark brown sugar, a touch of spice. Nice-ish flavour, but horribly sweet. However, you're then hit with a bitter and slightly sour taste of cardboard and metal with hints of that disgusting chicory-based fake coffee stuff - all of which is not only nasty, but clashes horribly with the sweet kvass-like start. The finish is sweet and syrupy yet still with the harsh metallic bitterness. Don't know quite what they're trying to do here, but overall this is grim (apart from the looks, which keep the score much higher than it should really be). Who actually buys this stuff (other than beer raters desperate for another tick of course 🤪)?

0,4 flaske fra EkoMarket Lagårdsveien, nødreiting hjemme: klar og mørk rødlig kastanjefarge med fint skum. Lukter og smaker som en søt vørterøl tilsatt en spiseskje kaffe.

Dark brown. Minimal, pale brown head. Sweet, roasty, wort. Light-medium body. Harsh-roasty finish.

29.07.19 Aromat zapach cukru pudru i bitej śmietany na gofrach. Piana była i znikła szara nie przejrzyście czarne. Smak: trochę paloności ale ogólnie bardzo słodkie wręcz mdłe, smak jakiejś przesłodzonej kawy zbożowej. Nagazowanie średnie ciało średnie przez cukier, tekstura oleista ale w nieprzyjemny sposób. Jakby było bardziej palone to może by można było nawet wypić

400ml bottle. Pours black with fizzy beige head, some retention. Aroma is thin but there is some roasted malts and chocolate. The mouthfeel is like that of a soda being highly carbonated and slightly syrupy. Taste is like a cross between a cheep dark lager and a cola. I don't hate it but it's very weird.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Dark brown colored brew with an vanilla taste, but i don’t like this crap. But an earlier Karmi i tasted today is much better.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, clear dark amber color. Aroma is sweet grainy, dark sugar, dried grain, hay, minerals, malt candy, hints of sweet licorice. Taste is sweet mineraly, dark sugar, minerals, grain, paper, grass, malt candy, hints of sweet licorice. Watery and sweet mineraly mouthfeel. Drinkable, but too sweet.

500 ml bottle, from EkoMarket Bryne. ABV is 0.0%. Cola colour, large off-white to beige head. Aroma of malts (some of it lightly roasted) and dark bread, a hint of mild coffee. Sweet, malty and sugary flavour, notes of dark bread, roast malts and sweetened mild coffee. Too sweet to be really pleasant.
