At Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Fruity-grassy aroma of lemon, gooseberry and white grapes. Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity and a little grassy taste of gooseberry, lemon, white grapes and some grass, followed by a short, slightly bitter, dry finish. Medium body, slightly spritzy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Draught @ Mig og Ølsnedkeren. Pours yellow with an offwhite head. Aroma off malt, yeast, grass, fruit, white wine grapes, light wood. Flavor is light sour, malt, yeasty, green peaches, white wine grapes, wood, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, light warming alcohol in the finish. 210416

Bouteille 33cl de Koht, Tallinn. #3136/6480. Dur à croire qu’il aura fallu que je sois en Estonie pour la déguster. Dorée sur un léger trouble, col blanc cassé, léger. Arôme est fin, avec un bouquet de barrique de Chardonnay qui ne laisse pas indifférent, rétro brett, boisé avec une pointe de rustique, malt pils et houblonné noble. Palais est léger, citronné avec un petit côté vin blanc. Léger pétillant avec ce côté belge de saison tirant sur rustique mais avec ce profil barrique de vin blanc qui change de l’habitude. Garde une impression de levure sauvage. Correcte, un peu cher et au final, le Chardonnay enlève pas mal de l’aspect complexe de la base.

Bottle, shared by Martin, thanks. Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, sour, herbs, some white wine notes. Flavor is sweet and sour, somewhat bitter, fruits, citrus, lemon, slightly acidic. Overall: good.

Draft at The Sovereign. Poured a hazy golden color with a medium fluffy white head. Aroma was grape, some dusty oranges, sharp acidic notes. Flavor was acidic, grape. Stone fruits. Hard to have a lot of it, but what I had was really nice.

Tap. Pours clear golden, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is oak, white wine, woody, oranges, honey. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter, fruity and oaky. Light body, creamy mouthfeel.

Amber, hazy body, with a massive, lacing, fluffy, white head.
Aroma of white wine barrel, barnyard, citrus, dried fruits, lemongrass, yeast, some apples.
Tastes of barrel, barnyard, apples, pears, yeast, lemongrass, some spices.
Quite light, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes dry, wooden, vinous, a bit spicy, yeasty, fruity, moderate sour, with a subtle alcohol warmth.
Very nice. A quite typical barrel aged Saison, with lots of nice vinous barrel notes and lovely fruits. Not the best style example I’ve had, but a really good drinkable, well balanced one.

Leicht trübes hell goldgelbes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach leicht säuerlichen Früchten, helles Malz, Trauben. Geschmack nach milden limetten, grasig bitter, grapefruit.
