Bottle from the brewery. Nose is banana, cloves, wheat biscuits. Typical nose, just a bit lighter. Thinner flavor with banana, clove, peaches, wheat. Taste is fine, just a bit thin, as is the body. If I wanted to avoid alcohol, I would definitely go for this.

Bottle, six months before bbd. Pours cloudy, dark golden, with a big, creamy, off white head. Aroma is nice, spicy wheaty notes, with hay, smoky phenols and fruity notes. Light body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is peppery wheat, hay, dusty minerals and earthy notes, as well as some honey. Very quaffable!

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild yeasty banana nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty, mild cloves and light caramel with watery palate. Short finish. Drinkable but thin.

Bottle. Murky apricot, lasting white head. Stale apple aroma, caramel malt... Taste, cardboard, dry, watery, mild mild bubblegum... Unimpressive. Ayinger can do much better!

Many thanks for this "real wheat beer" to Mariusz. Gut

Draught at Ayinger Braustüberl, Aying.
Deep orange, cloudy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of banana, vanilla, cloves, bread, flowers, some orange, slight dried fruits.
Tastes similar, quite light, but crisp and fresh.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a fizzy carbonation.
Finishes soft, moderate sweet, medium spicy, bready, floral, a bit fruity.
Nice one. Quite light of course, but well balanced and crisp, never feels too watery. Should be a great summer beer, goes down like soda water, while still with enough aroma.

(Bottle, from Bottl3.5hop, Stockholm) Orange/yellow colour, hazy, with lasting off-white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of bread, banana, toast and a touch of clove. Slightly buttery aromas as well. Malty, wheaty taste with bread, banana, apricots, clove and a sweetish finish. Light body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced low alcohol hefeweizen. Quite enjoyable.
