On tap at Brew Festival. An unclear yellowish orange colored beer with a dense finger-thick white head. Banana, grains, white bread and grapefruit in the aroma. It's dry and nicely carbonated, medium to full-bodied, with a quite piney flavor. Banana, grains and pale malts, as well as a feeling of freshly opened hop bag. Some alcohol warmth in the medium length finish. A strange weizenbock, more on the NEIPA side actually. Not too interesting as any of the two. 220430

20/V/22 - on tap @ Bar Beenhouwer, BB: n/a (2022-529)
Pretty cloudy blond beer, small creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: a bit soapy, floral, fruity touch, decent! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit spritzy, zesty, bitter, lemon notes, a sweet touch. Aftertaste: fruity, orange peel, a little oxidized, herbal, malty, good bitterness, nice stuff!

Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Saturday session 1. Hazy yellow golden body under a medium sized white head. Aroma has tropical fruit. Taste is sweet, tropical fruit, low bitterness. Medium body and same aftertaste. Nice and easy, quite quaffable, feels actually closer to a NEIPA than weizenbock.

Pours very milky yellow. Medium sized white head. Scent is very full, banana, wheat, smooth, very intense. Rough, saison like features. Hay. Taste is full, smooth, bit bitter, hoppowdery - but smoothened out by the banana and wheat. interesting, but the NEIPA factor is lost to me (sold as a NEIPA / Weizenbock crossover)

Tap. Beautiful hazy. Flavor strong but not overwhelming. Fruit, cream, marzipan. Clean grass. Sooo smooth and soft. Round, front loaded. This works so well. Surprisingly. Love it.

On tap at Hopdog in the company of Jonas, Wednesday 16th March 2022 . Hazy yellow, white head, wheaty, aromatic hops, some grapefruit, pithy. dry, it really is quite brusque with a maelstrom of hops rampaging across the palate. This is a great beer, that seems a tricky one to categorise but I like Jonas's description, for me however it just needs to work on smoothing out a few rough edges as it's a little untamed and in yer face'at times.

Can picked up from Bierkiste München and consumed at Bergcamping, Lenggries sat in Frank camper after a nice Cannellonlli and a long What's App discussion with Scott and Mandy Friday 14th January 2022, listening to The People's Party with AFRODEUTSCH on 6Music. Pours looking like a milky orange juice with a white head. Okay positives is that this is better than the Blech Brut that I just had and couldn't finish but that's hardly a ringing endorsement. It's a little too harsh (yet again!) with the hoppiness, okay not as bad as the Whalez. It's not really that Weizenbock like, fruity, more DIPA'ish'. Fine, a little orangey, maltiness is subtle, fine.

440ml can. Murky, opaque, some people would say hazy as fuck, light yellow-ish, bright, pale golden (advocaat) colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Slightly bready, wheaty malty and metallic-fruity, minimally soapy-floral, somehow perfumed, hoppy aroma, banana, some yellow stone fruit and pear in a zinc tub. Taste is bitter, grassy, minimally floral hoppy, minimally bready, wheaty malty, peppery spicy yeasty; lingering, bitter and metallic finish, peppery interludes. Watery texture, dry palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Totally overdone, overhopped, remnants of fruitiness in the aroma, no vestiges of fruitiness in taste - quite off-key.

Together with fresh pizza Smell-weak malt, banana, yeast. Foam-thin, hops, bitter tones.Head is large white color, yellow tint. Sticks a bit. Appearance- nice pixel art design with robots. Hazy yellow color. From - Weizen glass Taste- hops, citrus, some bitter tones. Quite refreshing, but considering it was expensive for me locally not really worth it. For a good price, this is a fine one for sure.
