Super smooth palate that is done to perfection with the beets. Tons of bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, beets, super well balanced and deep. Absolutely amazing.

Black body, with a small, tan head. Aroma of bourbon, creamy chocolate, soy sauce, sweet spices, molasses, some coffee. Tastes similar, a bit sweeter. Full, creamy mouthfeel. Finishes medium sweet, medium roasty, with soy sauce, bourbon, coffee, chocolate. Classic BBA Stout, with robust and sweet notes in a great balance. Lovely creamy character throughout, really pleasant sipper. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Bottled@Koht, Tallinn (thanks to the two Norwegians for sharing!). Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some slight alcohol and mild spices with some vanilla, bourbon and wooden tones. Flavour pretty much contains the same elements as the aroma, but also has some evident coffee things going on. Smooth, and really pleasant sipper.

330ml bottle. Sweet, heavy and stuffy with loads of bourbon, beetroot, toffee, syrup and earthiness. Quite heavy and sweet.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with light bourbon notes and roasted malt. Taste is a mix of roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with some bourbon notes with light oak and vanilla presence with a rather dry finish. Body is full with good carbonation with some warming alcohol notes. Enjoyable but dryer then expected with not as much bourbon notes as expected.

Thick and oily, a tad sweet. I get a lot of cherry and chocolate, wouldn't guess it's beets. Dry and woody finish. Smooth, intense, strong, full, absolutely brilliant.

BB 14.04.2025. black color, small coffee colored head. smells wood, oak, vanilla, coconut, earthy, cherries, bit jammy, light sherry. nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes sweet, molasses, bourbon, vanilla, coconut, sherry, nice wood notes, some beets, dried fruits, some oxidation. finishes rather sweet with oxidation notes, bourbon and vanilla. nice one, just super sweet, flavour profile is not totally round, but overall quite good one.

Bottle. Black, low dark brown head. Dry earthy chocolate, roast, nut, coffee nose. Full body, thicc lightly sour earthty minerally notes, beet detectable, sweet chocolate, wood vanilla, alcohol burn, somewhat sour finish. Not entirely harmonic.
