Gently tart Gose brewed with cucumber, walnut, svan salt, coriander, and our house blend of lactobacillus. Our take on this classic German-style wheat beer pairs the cool freshness of glass cucumber with the taste of famous Georgian svan salt to create an incredibly refreshing experience.

12 February 2022. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks for hosting, Tim, and cheers to the whole crew!

Clear golden, thinning head. Aroma of cucumber, gherkin, tzatziki, salt, wet pepper, vague mandarin. Taste has sour & salty cucumber juice, pickles and pickle juice from a jar, tad spicy, vaguely citrusy. Tart & salty finish, lots of cucumber & vegetable juice. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Doesn't even smell uninviting but it's hardly drinkable.

Pours a clear, pale yellowblonde. Small to no white head. Scent is full, thick, cucumber (milder walnut). Full for a Göse. Taste is very strong salty, intense (very intense) on the cucumber, oily MF, medium to low carbo. Tad sweet trough the cucumber, the walnut remains hidden. Mild acidity. Not at all balanced, not at all my kind of taste.

50cl bought at Tsota Tsota Pub in Tbilisi. Cnned 19/12/2021, BB 19/9/2022.

Clear yellow blond beer, small aery irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: cucumber, and lots of it, fresh gherkins, some dill, very intense. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very salty, super salty, gherkins, little sweet, funky, bit weird. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, bit mouldy, wet walnuts, salty, sweet and thick and weird...

330ml can from Share House in Moscow @ 6% ABV. Contract brewed in the Moscow Region (it looks like Megobrebi have stopped exporting to Russia and opted for local production instead). Pours sludgy green with no head, accompanied by a load of small black things, which I assume are grains(?) of black pepper. This does not look appetising. Aroma is black pepper, celery, cucumbers and coriander. Taste is heavily salty, aforementioned vegetables, coriander, black pepper. Light spicy finish. Smoothie consistency, medium bodied. Aggressive carbonation. I couldn’t manage more than 100ml of this vegetable smoothie. It was not refreshing. Not my kind of thing.
