1/12/2025. Cask at Cricketers, Ipswich. Pours fine. Aroma has lots of Christmas spice, Christmas pudding, biscuit, malt. Taste is sweet, malty, spiced. Has developing bitterness, which becomes a bit heavy, probably from the nutmeg. Still overall a pretty decent spiced Christmas ale.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 24. Thanks Jeremy for this. Relatively clear amber, good off-white head. Big spiciness at play here.. very spicy, very christmassy in a distinctly Scottish fashion .. clootie dumpling indeed. Bit thin unfortunately, could be maltier. Decent overall.
