sweet nose with tons of sweet dark chocolate, and apple brandy. Perfect match in the nose. Full body tons of apple brandy, dark chocolate, sweet as hell. Rounded and smooth. Wow.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is molasses, cocoa, brandy. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, a bit sharp. Medium plus body. Good, but a tad harsh.

Flaska från Boxbeers. Vintage 2017, blått vax. Tack Joel! Mörkbrun/svart med tjusigt, krämigt och tätt mörkbrunt skum. Doftar och smakar av krämig lakritskola, saltlakrits, fudge, mörk choklad, chokladpralin. Tydlig fatkaraktär, och samtidigt snyggt subtil ton från brandyn som integreras väl med resten. En av de bättre Eclipsen jag druckit, mycket gott.

Bottle shared@pre GBBF Shindig, London (04/08/2018) - pours black with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with chocolate, caramel and fudge sweetness, burnt dark malty nuances, full bodied, apple brandy infused wooden accents into the dark malty close.

Bottle split at the pre GBBF Shindig '18, thanks to Steve, 04/08/18. Pitch black with a well presented tan covering. Nose is rich roast, light spice, dark chocolate shavings, mellow barrel candied fruit rinds. Taste comprises roast malts, light brandy oak, chocolate cake, toffee fudge, dried fruits, light charr. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, balanced rising boost towards the curtain call. Solid BA impy but not the best in the series.

ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, apple - brandy, barrel, apple - honey. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, alcohol, apple brandy, apple - honey, barrel.
