Bottle, 7.2%. Aroma of dark roasted malts, hint of fruity hops. Black colour. Ok light brown head. Creamy mouthfeel. The flavour is very roasted with a distinct astringent bitterness. Only a little fruity hop note in the finish. A tad too bitter for me.

Bottle at Balthasar Volos in the company of Kosta, Yannis, Ele and Millie, Thursday 3rd September 2020. Pours black with a busy off white foam head. The 3c hops really give this a distinct bitterness, hops shining well. Roasty, bitter, fruits (citrus) really good.

Bottle from B is for Beer, Chania, Crete. Pours hazy dark brown with a lasting, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of fig, raisin, dried orange peel, 'orangettes', chocolate powder, black tea. Taste has sweet fig, orange peel, raisin, bittersweet chocolate powder wrapped in biscuity-caramelly maltiness, touch of herbal black tea. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, bit earthy, lingering dark fruit. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Initially on the sweet side but sufficient hoppiness to make up for it.
