750mL bottle drunk 8/21/22. Clear cherry-amber, large, beige-butter head is impressive at 15 years old. Oxidation, but not ruinous, shows paper pulp, vanilla, light cardboard, though its not as bad as that sounds. Cherry, oak tannin, vanilla and moderate lactic acidity. Not gonna win any awards in this condition, but its absolutely drinkable and the oxidation only adds strong vanilla, not any papery cardboard. Cherry, honey, caramel, vanilla. Just a study in Flemish sours, or at least barrel blended American red wild ales. But it seems pretty close. It's soft, it's malty, it's tempered in its sourness and it's well-balanced. Definitely about 7 years too late on this one, but glad I at least opened it now, rather than waiting for it to really go downhill.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle that I purchased at Toronado many years ago. Aroma is a balanced blend of malt, oxidation and Brett notes. Lots of honey and wet cardboard with some light cherry pie, sherry, berry and raisin. Faint oak notes and light malt character. Pours an amber brown color with a medium large, thick, fluffy, tan head head that recedes to a small film that lingers. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light malt notes of caramel and honey. Moderate acidity and light alcohol spice and barrel notes. Some raisin, cassis, cherry pie and sherry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, better than expected considering the age. Lots of oxidation with honey and sherry but less wet cardboard notes.

Bottle shared by Ari, thanks! Pours a hazy deep amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sour red fruit with musty funk and a hint of acid. Flavor is similar with musty funk and sour red fruit that grows in acidity.

Sour tasting with a bunch of friends. Dudes, it gets better. Poured a cloudy orange-amber color with a small off-white head that quickly dissipated.
Aroma is very subtle, contains a touch of sour notes, with a mild, aged malt note.
Flavor has touch of tart notes - perhaps a touch of apple cider, raspberries, with a touch of sweetness. There were some oak notes with a touch of vanilla in the finish.
Perhaps would have been slightly better a few years ago - but well worth checking out.

Bottle shared by cgarvieuk at Borefts I. Cheers Craig! Dirty amber beer. Frothy off white head. Sourish nose. Lightly sour beer, soft and semi dry. Fruity - cherries and some citrus fruits. Cognac and malty sweetness in the middle. Approachable sour!

750ml bottle pours a transparent orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose is approachable, grapefruit, lemons, grass, a little sugar, some raspberry. Flavor is very well balanced, lightly sweet, lightly tart, grapefruit, lemons, grass, a little pithy, some light white wine vinegar. Medium bodied, tart finish. Very well balanced. Well proportioned.
