Pickup No. 26 Pilsner is a tribute to our farming heritage. In the country, the pickup has always ruled. Our Craft Cider and Brew House is located just off Highway No. 26 as you enter Thornbury Village. Enjoy the taste of our traditionally-made beers, handcrafted in no particular hurry.

An authentic Czech-style pilsner brewed with Bohemian malts, Saaz hops and genuine Czech yeast. These traditional ingredients are handcrafted by our Brewmaster in small batches creating a bright, golden-coloured, refreshing beer. Pleasing malty flavours and a soft floral and spicy hop character make this a complex and well-balanced Bohemian Pilsner.

A dense, well laced white head on a clear deep straw body. Nose is classic pilsner with grain, honey and a spritz of citrus. The taste features two dominant elements, big roasted grain and smooth sweet honey. The Czech yeast and fresh mild hops complete a smooth, slightly slick taste experience.

Dark gold, tiny white head. Pale malts, slightly corny grains, no hops. Thin mouth feel, flat carb. Finish is super dry, zero bitterness, slight hay, and some soft breadiness.

Can - Light grains and a touch of spicy hops. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Sweet caramel, light bitterness and more caramel. A bit too malty for my taste.

This pils poured a slightly cloudy yellow colour with a quick living, bright white head. Scents include hops, corn, bread and grass. First swig was smooth with a slightly thin mouthfeel and flavours of perfume, bread and malt with a little corn. Finish is a little bitter with hop flavor flavor lingering.

Can sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks kerenmk. Slightly hazy yellowish gold. Aroma of graininess, DMS and a bit of cardboard. Sweetish and grainy flavor, a bit corny, with a bitterish finish with a papery note. Quite light-bodied.

Purchased a 6-pack of this at the LCBO. Second brew tried from this brewery. Says "Ultra Premium Beer" on top label and box (did not know that something could be more than premium). Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white cap that gives out loads of lacing. Nice grainy sweet malt nose. Decent medium-bodied with a little dryness, a little crispiness and well-balanced with some wetness. The hop shows up more in the taste. Not as sweet as the aromas, grainy with beautiful grass and slight bitterness in the finish. A really good Canadian Pilsner that is pretty close to most good Euro ones.
