33cl Blik van de brouwerij. Niet heel vers meer maar nog steeds top. Troebelgeel, witte kraag. Aroma is zacht, citrus en tropisch fruit, iets harsig. Smaak is bijzonder mild voor 17.2%, ingelegde citroen, citrus, mango, beetje dennen, goed bittere finish. Volle body. Topper.

Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie; 24th Feb 2020. My last beer of the session, cheers Mat for this 330ml can. Hazed old gold body, a bit of white on top. It's like a very alcoholic tropical fruit cocktail with a sweet start followed by a drying hop bitterness towards the finish, nice!

330ml can @ monthly beer share, Chez Sophie, FEB 20 during the famous Shrewsbury floods of 2020. Pours a misty golden yellow, white froth atop. Big boozy fruity sweet nose, taste seems remarkably balanced and drinkable for the strength, certainly not harsh besides a light tang. Nice hazed sweet fruity TIPA (or QIPA perhaps?).

Pours unclear blonde. Smell is very creamy, hoparoma, no booze, somehow. Tatse is full, intense, bitter. Bit pine. Full, strong alcohol back, but nowhere near the true ABV. Just like their monster triple IPA, this one tastes more like 8-10 ABV, rather than the true 17.2 % . It seems to be rather pointless to have a smooth, eady drinker, rather than a full-on extreme beer that justifies the 17.2 % intake. Very well made, that's a given, but not something i'd drink again .

Can. Golden blond. What to do if the Uiltjebar refuses to sell you a can to takeaway? You just buy it in Albergen! Citrus, oily grassy hops in the aroma. OIly hops, grass, citrus, alcohol in the flavor. Not bad for its sky high ABV.

Can. Golden pour. Aroma of juicy mango, bready malt, pineapple, garlicy hop, citrus, peach and orange. Taste of orange, juicy mango, pineapple, garlicy hop, papaya and bready malt. How is this 17%? It tastes like a juicy fresh iipa. Remarkeable.

Can from tderoeck. Many thanks! Hazy orange colour, white foam. Nose of papaya, mango, sweet pine. Taste is tropical fruit, harsh bitter, grassy, alcoholic. Still drinkable for this high ABV.

Can. Color: Hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Grassy and citrus hop. Taste: Moderate to medium sweet malty and medium to over medium hopbitter. Citrus and grassy hop. No signs of the high alcohol percentage at the beginning, but it shows off towards and at the finish although it still not seems that boozy at all. Bittery palate and warming, bit sticky mouthfeel at finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Probably the best ultra high alcohol IPA I've had so far, but nowhere near the top of this style. Ok though.

Pretty cloudy yellow to light beige beer, big creamy irregular white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: super dank and resinous hops, tropical fruits, onions, bit cheesy, lovely smell! Super hoppy! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: super bitter start, very dry, hoppy, resinous, lots of alcohol. Aftertaste: super bitter, hoppy, resinous, grapefruit touch, very dry finish.
