500 ml bottle from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear light gold color with a large off-white head and excellent retention. Great lacing too. Lots of streaming bubbles. Standard pale lager aroma. Standard pale malt flavor too, with only a hint of sulfur in the finish. Not as malty or bready as I expected. Again, a good lager, minus the sulfur notes. Medium body and medium carbonation. Not bitter.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden with a foamy head. Quite malty, toasted grain, overripe banana, candied malt, slightly metallic, pretzels, dry lemon zest, grassy. Zesty metallic bitterness, malty grainy sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty malty grainy fruity bittersweet finish. It’s a very solid Festbier, quite characteristic and flavourful. Deserves its relatively good rating for sure.

Bottle picked up from Markgrafen Getränkemarkt, Deggendorf consumed at home Saturday 16th March 2024, about to cook Rajma, a spicy Kidney Bean Curry from our new Dishoom cookbook, listening to ByteFM. Pours warm gold with a large white head, this is a huge improvement on the previous beer by Ettl Brau. Nice maltiness throughout but with a thin vein of bitterness, fruity and a pleasant hoppiness. This is nice.

(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, dough, hay, herbal hops and mandarin. Malty nose with bread, dough, mandarin, grass, hay and a balanced herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, creamy texture. Quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Ergießt sich hellgolden und klar ins Glas. Leckerer Geruch - blumig, fruchtig. Gibt bessere Festbiere in Niederbayern.
