75cl bottle from the brewery. Hazy brown, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of raisin, fig, red grape, citrus zest, liqueur, carré confiture, musty wood, vague Grand Marnier. Taste has sourish raisin, grape and brambleberry in a sweetish jam-like & caramelly malt body with citrusy edges. Tart finish of berries, some woody tannins too and warming liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. The Bock-like malt body falls a bit flat and overall it feels oxidized, even infected. Not a lot of Grand Marnier either to add extra depth. Too bad, I expected much more.

Bottle. Dark red brown, but its getting dark and there is not much light here. A looot of bourbon. Quite flat. Caramel. Surprisingly light.

Bottle picked up from Weyermann, Bamberg and consumed with the Munich Ratebeer Tasting group and consumed at Jonas's 2nd August 2022. Pours reddy brown, good clarity, a nice subtle Terry's chocolate orange vibe to this. soft moutheel, a little woodiness, barrel ageing is well integrated. Chocolate is here but playing it's part, so not so much Willy Wonka more Cadbury Dairy Milk.

Big bottle, thanks Fin&Loz! Bright red chestnut, low offwhite head. Fruity, berry juice malt nose. Sparkly medium body, lightly tart, malty berry, bready finish, plum finish, very drinkable and the freshest BA beer I ever had.

Bottle. Deep ruby color with off-white head. Aroma is orange, jam, quite fruity, grand marnier definitely noticeable. Taste is orange again, bready, some booze. Oily mouthfeel, natural carbonation. Solid flavour profile.

Brown with thin, frothy head. Aroma of orange peel and dates. Taste is mildly tart with an underlying caramel sweetness. Body to the full side of medium, mild carbonation. Interesting and pleasant sipping, but more of a concoction than a beer, the bock is getting lost, and there’s just too much contrast between the barrel and beer. Maybe a different barrel next time.
