Poured from a 375 ml, 2020 / 2021 vintage bottle. Aroma is moderately grape forward with nice green grape must and a bit of juice. Quite a bit of lambic character as well with earthy, musty funk and notes of lemon and stone fruit. Light oak notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a medium sized, fairly thick, frothy white head that recedes quickly to a small film that lingers on the edges. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor is a bit acidic with a light sharpness and light grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Faint oak notes. Medium light grape notes with some tannins and grape must. Light earthy, herbal funk with some lemon and stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another fun Meerts lambic. I really do think I might prefer these to the fully fruited lambics we traditionally get. These let a lot more of the base lambic character through while the fruit is secondary.

Taster showing pale gold with sparse white foam.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of stone fruit and brett.

The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied
Highly tart but very fruit forward with juicy peach and nectarine throughout.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF with priceless Rachel's (yup, again!) help in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: pale golden with a white head. Aroma: funky, minerally, some fruity character. Taste: same. Overall: good.

Bottle. Gold. Lots of bubbles but a white head is very soon gone. Funky aroma with damp hay, hard spices, modest brooding grape notes. Light bodied, even a tad watery. Very dry and fairly sour with hayish malt and light fruity and spicy notes. Pretty good but my least favourite of the box so far.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy bright golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out soft white grape skins, lots of grape must, moderate funk, and some earthiness. Flavour is even better, with musty white wine grape, moderate barnyard funk, and gentle acidity. Only gently tart, very dry and quite expressive of the grapes for second usage. Excellent.
