Bottle. Color: Very dark brown, almost black. Beige head. Aroma: Dark chocolate, roasted malt. Taste: Smooth, bit creamy, roasted malt, chocolate, hints of coffee and fruity coffee bean. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet and bitter. Dry-ish and earthy finish. Nice one.

25/3/2024. Bottle shared by the Shropshire boys, cheers. Pours clear ruby bronze brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Good pour. Aroma is malty, chocolate, biscuit, hops, fruity, slight berry twiggy edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

500ml bottle @ blackhaddocks gaff. Pours a dark ruby, large beige head. Chocolatey nose. Flavour profile is all about the dark chocolate and dark malts with some sappy hints. Pleasant bitterness. Good stuff.

500ml bottle (BB September 2024) shared with minutemat on 6th November 2023 during a mega tasting at my house (Panda for Grumbo too). Lovely ruby colour, beige head that lasted. Rich dark chocolate base with some bitterness from the hop content, really pleasant beer all round.

Bottle, Purple Moose, Betwy-y-Coed. Brown red, medium cream coloured head, not lasting. Mild biscuity nose, moderate dry fruits, some wood. Mild bitterness, medium roasted. Some sweetness, a bit woody aftertaste. Silky and fuller. Easy to drink. Nice.

0,5l bottle bought in Spar, Llanrwst. BB 12/23. Dark brown color, small tan head. Smells toffee, earthy, hints of smoke, spices, bit leathery. Nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, leathery, peppery ashy, tobacco, some bittet chocolate, nutty. Finishes light to medium roasty bitter with notes of leather, tobacco and earthy notes. Nice one overall, rather on the bitter side with ashy and leathery notes, good stuff none the less.
