Kirta has a special meaning in Bavaria and is traditionally celebrated with good food, music and a strong beer. Our Kirta beer is brewed using the classic decoction process, in which parts of the malt grist are boiled and then added to the main brew – this ensures a strong, full-bodied flavour. (Bottled in week 37)
It is then stored in cool tanks for 7 weeks so that the malty sweetness and the fine hop bitterness are perfectly balanced. A harmonious beer that combines tradition and craftsmanship – ideal for Kirta time.

Bottle, 5,7%. Clear amber colour. Sparkling. Small whitish head. Sweetish malty aroma, slightly spicy. The flavour is very malty with a nice spicy hop note. Good dusty finish.

Bottle from Lidl (10x Oktoberfest mixed case of beers). Pours a slightly hazy copper colour with a thinnish off white head. Aromas of sweet grains, hay and doughy white bread. Taste has more of these same notes, very malty with a sweetish but well balanced finish. Full body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Excellent.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Prägnant malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig mit Karamell und Toffee, leicht hopfig, würzig. Mittlere bis hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure. Sehr präsentes, pointiertes Bier.

Bottle from Lidl. A light hazed amber copper coloured pour with a fine off white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, soggy autumnal leaves, brown bread, copper penny, twigs. Flavour is composed of semi latered layered toasted malts, raisin bran, soreem, wet grass, firm slightly harsh bitterness, Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Good character.

Bottle from Lidl Oktoberfest box. Pours clear amber with a decent beige foam. . Aroma: Malt, biscuit, caramel. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter, malt, grains, biscuit, caramel, toasted bread. Light floral. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Good one.

500ml bottle from the Lidl festbier box. Pours a deep golden amber. Caramelly flavour profile, moderately sweet with cereal malt elements.. not bad, very light carb tho.

Bottle from Lidl NL festbier box. Color: Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, caramel. Taste: Malty, caramel, light roasted toast, bread. Light floral hopbitterness. Long lasting caramel finish. Over moderate sweet. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice.
