Aus der Dose im 2025-03 getrunken. Bei diesem Stout ist der Name echt Programm mit seinen Karamell-Schokoaroma. Eine schöne fast schon ölige Textur, kräftigen Körper und wo der Alkohol perfekt eingebunden ist. Dieser flüssige Nachtisch ist echt was für Genießer die auch mal was Süßes mögen.

Can picked up from Drankgigant.nl webshop, Vlissingen, Netherlands and consumed at home Friday 27th December 2024 shared with Baz listening to a selection of Indie tracks on Tidal after having homemade Pizza for tea. Pour black with a fast disappearing beige head. Thick in the mouth with fudge and toffee dominant but also a roasty bitterness, there is also some coffee and chocolate but this is not as showy as the aforementioned flavours. Very nice.

5/IX/24 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 29/XII/25, canned: 29/XII/22 (WTF, I bought this just recently???), batch: 528 (2024-839)
Clear black beer, very thick while pouring, big solid creamy and a bit irregular dark brown head, wow, this is one of the darkest heads I’ve seen on a beer ever, I think! Aroma: quite some blueberry jam, cough syrup, elderberry syrup, caramel, sugary, chocolate fudge, very intense strong smell. MF: soft carbon, full thick body, syrupy texture, almost chewy! Taste: good roast up front, a bit sweet, but not as much as you would expect from the smell and the looks of the beer, dark chocolate, some caramel, malty, coffee notes, gentle bitterness, quite some alcohol. Aftertaste: bitter touch, a bit hoppy, deep roast, covered by caramel malts and chocolate notes, more alcohol, some blueberry jam, a little sugary, decent but a bit too much alcohol if you ask me. Still, not bad, I liked it!

(Draught at Bierlokaal De Uiver, Haarlem, 17 July 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with notes of caramel, toffee and dark chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, toffee, treacle, sweet espresso, chocolate truffles and a balanced cacao bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Sweet and caramelly, but really rich and quite well balanced for its strength. Very nice..

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Viscous black, no head. Aroam of syrup and marshmallows. Super sweet with full body and sticky mouthfeel. Insane amount of adjuncts pretty much sums it up. Another undrinkable cloy-bomb from Moersleutel with no redeeming features. What's wrong with them? Hope it doesn't clog up my sink.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen 02 March 2024 Sweet and roasted dark malty notes of chocolate, lots of sweet fudge and caramel and toffee malty sweetness, full bodied, lick of vanilla into the sweet dark malty finish. Lovely.
