Crisp, clean and refreshing is the aim of the game when it comes to our Reef Point Lager. Named after it's namesakes location at the tip of the Peninsula, Reef Point is a dry lager fermented over a rice base, giving it a balanced sweetness and a low hoppy bitterness. Incredibly easy to drink, and at 4.2% it is the perfect beer to enjoy on those hot summer afternoons.

Can at the Sweet Pea Kitchen, Bradford on Avon. Yellowy-gold with a light fizz and a thin white head thay swiftly fades away. Watery from the off. Sweetcorn and a little lemon. Some nice floral notes in the aftertaste fail to compensate for the sweet, flabby malt and the thin body. It's not horrible, but it certainly needs to be a bit crisper and hoppier to achieve anything.

0.33 l can from 'Beyond Beer', best before March 2025. A little hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral aroma of pineapple, lemon peel and some grains. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral taste of grains, lemon peel, pineapple and some rubber, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay but definitely not their best.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from SPAR-EAT17. Pours totally clear yellow with a fizzy, white head. Lightly sweet with a lot of pale grains, simple bread, hints of grass and straw. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, more crispy cereal flakes, doughy biscuit, hay. So so.

Bottle from Ascot Brewery Tap (ticks were lacking). Aroma combines malts, citrus and damp cardboard. Clear gold. Fizzy foamy translucent white head. Citrusy, but watery. Some sweet malts. And a soda water saltiness. Some damp cardboard. Light. Watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Non-alcholic seltzer.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 2A adapted: low alcohol 0.5%). Can 33 cl - Batch F03890 BBT12 (BBF 21/12/23). AROMA: medium-low must aroma with a low sweet character. APPEARANCE: pale yellow clear and translucent. low white head with no retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low beer must flavour. low herbal and slightly citrusy hop presence. medium-low sweet background counterbalanced with medium bitterness. Finishes almost dry and slightly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: similar to an ordinary alcohol-free macro lager.
