Made with good old-fashioned hop-bursting techniques and irresponsible dry-hopping technology, Edmund’s Oast’s house IPA Introducing, Something Cold. Ultra-Deluxe Premium Blonde Ale, crafted with the finest barley, hand-selected hops, and superlative water, is built for the fridge and destined for your hand.
Refreshment and refinement never tasted so premium. Soft, malty aromas with ever-so-subtle hints of orchard fruit waft from its tightly-knit foam cap, but the finish is fast and clean. Dry, and always ultra deluxe, ask for Something Cold when only something cold will do.

Can from ABC in Cape Coral. Lightly hazy medium gold in color with a decent sized fluffy white head. Bready crackery maltiness with bits of fruit and earth to counter, not bad.

Single from Whole Paycheck in town. Goblet @home. 12/08/21. Kinda old, wtf? Tall, tall head, stuff, clear, golden. Inviting, thin, fruit & dough scent. Softly sweet, touch of fruit, zero bitterness, very mellow white bread, lift acidity, too mellow. Terrible when not ice cold. Bleh.

Can from Craft and Carry: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is light citrus and bread. Taste is light bitterness, some breadiness. Simple and to the point.

From a pint can. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a white head. Aromas of lemon and grain. Flavors are moderately bitter citrus with some sweet notes. This very good for a usually boring style.

Mild resin hop aroma. Slightly sweet malt underneath a moderate hop bitterness. Thick mouthfeel. A little dry and crisp.

Very clear and clean copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of light grassy and citrusey hops show at first with a soft malt complexity that has a bit of a biscuity and wheatie profile along with some light cleanser notes in the nose as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Crisp dry and grassy flavours show at first with a nice lemon and citrus bite from the hops soon afterwards, along with a bready and slightly peppery flavour from the yeast here. Aftertaste shows some malts, wheat, biscuits, yeast and a good deal of hops for the style here that provides enough complexity and range, especially for the style. Overall, a nice and robust beer, especially for the style with a citrusey and slight peppery component which makes this nice in terms of complexity, while this is still easy-enough drinking, the beer hits the marks nicely for the style and for what you'd expect from an easy-drinker. Nice to sample, especially super fresh here in town. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Charleston, South Carolina, yesterday, on 28-December-2021 for US$2,49 sampled on the streets of Savannah, Georgia on 29-December-2021 with my family.

[16oz can from Total Wines, Naples, FL.] A straw coloured pour with a thick white head; biscuity malt aroma; biscuity malt taste, rather sweet; and then a dank straw-like bitterness. Not at all what I would expect from a Premium Blonde Ale.

Aromas are biscuits, pale malt and dry grain. Flavors are the stereotypical example of the ale version of a pale lager/Pilsner. This is just a little more multi, fruity and a touch heavier than the standard pale lager. Decent body and finish. Good enough beer.

16 oz. can purchased in St. Pete, FL. Hazy very light gold color with a huge white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Pale malt aroma. Tastes more like a premium pale lager than a golden ale. That said, it's really good. Clean, smooth and tasty with a light lemony sweet background flavor.
