440 ml can. Pours unclear yellow with a very big fluffy head. Extremely floral, like orange tree blossoms, vanilla, coriander seeds, biscuits, stone fruit, hay, sourdough, some skunk, lime juice. Floral fruity sweetness, hoppy zesty bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty floral hoppy bitter finish. What an excellent Bock.

Can, courtesy of Fil, now 6.5 months old (the beer, not Fil).Misty golden body, off-white thick head, fairly big, medium retention. Hugely hoppy, floral aroma still, leaning on some fruitiness, still punchy after all this time! Lean, dry taste, almost crisp, lovely floral hoppiness, some low citric notes, like Cedevita candy. Diamant and Saphir are shining here really, and the background is cleeeean, before a lighter but still quite present herbal bitterness, the shakiest aspect of the beer - and still good. Highly atypical bock and yet pretty much what I'd expect from Yankee & Kraut's take at the style. I'm semi sad I didn't end up sharing it with people, but I'm also happy, as this beer is delicious. Need to get some more from Fil if he has some lying around to bring to Croatia. All in all, a beautiful, floral, crisp, chuggable pale bock! Raised a glass to Max as well, drinking this in RB Zoom chats that he had some great cameos in!

Can drunk after a long day with partial success mounting a plastic double door. If you ever consider this i recommend Alu-plastic instead. Also I should add, I'm thinking about Max Senner while I drink this, wishing I could send him a message about what a great beer Y&K made. Light gold, huge very fine head. Honey and light hops notes on the nose, beautiful bitterness balance for this pretty sweet beer. Very crisp flavor. Great Bock!

Tap after Max' funeral. Rest in power big guy, we miss you. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is good flowers, honeymelon,. Taste is honey, dried fruits, melon, pretty sweet, almost sugary. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbobation. Tasty, and super drinkable, despite the high sweetness.

Can picked up from Bierkiste, München and consumed at home Tuesday 9th May 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music on a glorious sunny Spring Day. Raising this glass in memory of the sadly departed Max Senner of Yankee and Kraut brewery. Pours light/mid gold with a little haze, superbly drinkable, you'd never guess this is 6.8%. The hops give a very floral light perfume led aroma, but any thoughts of an exotic Maibock are dashed *reassuringly may I add as this is very much in the mould of a traditional heller Maibock, solid maltiness, a light touch of citrus in the mouth but with that lovely, fresh perfumed hoppiness throughout, great beer.
