Sample from cask (with cask breather and sparkler) at Cardinal, Stavanger. Deep reddish brown colour, slightly off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malts and earthy and herbal English hops, not too sweet. Good bitterness.

Endelig Mandag i annen!

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Off-white head over a copper coloured body, spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of caramel malts and herbal hops. Well balanced taste of leafy hops, bread, and mild malty-sweetness in the background. A piney note to a bittersweet, drying close. Pleasing. (Bodø Panorama, 24.02.2023).

Can. Hazy amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Perhaps a little over carbonated for the style but better over than under. Smooth malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Trace of toffee - caramel. The trio of UK hops bring crisp pine and a mild ripe orange. Touch of Bramling Cross blackberry and a little floral lime from Ernest I think. Light and semi dry finish. Drinkable but I was expecting this ESB to have more malt depth and a bit more ooomph to the hops. A bit polite.
