Imperial Porter leżakowany 14 miesięcy w beczkach po bourbonie George Dickel, żytniej whiskey Rittenhouse Rye oraz sherry Pedro Ximenez.
Mariaż beczek po trzech różnych alkoholach pozwolił na uzyskanie bardzo zbalansowanego piwa, w którym nuty suszonych owoców przeplatają się z wyraźnymi czekoladowo – kawowymi akcentami. Klasyka gatunku w imperialnym wydaniu.

Black with minimal head. Super sweet. Chocolate, molasses, soy sauce, vanilla. Thick, oily body. Too sweet without balance nor complexity.

Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear deep brown with a small, foamy white head. Big sweet flavour, Smokey, some cured meats, earth, brown sugar. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish. Tasty.

CBJ Tasting.Thanks to Dan. Opaque dark brown beer, not much of a head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, modest fine carbonation. Smooth rich dark malts, fair degree of salted caramel. A little fruity whiskey and a touch of vanilla barrel. Nice.

Bottle split at the ‘rar’ date tasting in CBJ, thanks to Danny Boyo, 29/02/2024.
Black topped with a khaki cap.
Nose is booze, dark fruit esters, roasted tones, chocolate shavings.
Taste comprises mellow barrel, fruit cake, chocolate, molasses, dates.
Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a mellow boost.
Decent enough sipper.

Pours dark brown to black. Scent is dried fruit, dades, oak. mild on the bourbon. Mild PX notes. Taste is warming, bit boozy, round, roastyness. bourbon is medium intense (by booze, more than aroma) PX is hidden. Boozy finish, medium thick body, medium carbo. Fairly sweet, with a sweet finish. Decent.

Kolor ciemny brąz, prawie czarne, drobna piana. Niekonwencjonalne połączenie: prażone orzeszki ziemne i landrynki waniliowe, bardzo intensywne. Trochę pralin, na finiszu cytrusowy chmiel. Wyraźnie słodkie, lekko gorzkie. Pod koniec trochę męczy słodycz. Oleista tekstura. Super.
