Shrewsbury Beer Share, 2nd Oct 2017. 0.5 litre bottle taken my me: Five of us split the bottle. Cloudy dark golden pour, white crown. Bananas ruled the nose, vanilla ruled the flavour. Label scared a couple of the group, they thought it a bit freaky. Liked it.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 17, courtesy of Jeremy. Thanks chap. Pours a misty golden orange, small white head. Aroma has some pleasant yeasty weiz esters. Taste delivers what the aroma promises, smooth easy-going with just enough banana / vanilla yeast emerging. Not too full-on. Refreshing.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Cloudy deep golden to orange colour, large white head. Very strong aroma of over-ripe bananas and cloves. Banana and cloves in the flavour too, not too sweet. Low bitterness, as expected from a hefeweizen.
