Keg at Llandoger Trow, Bristol. Hazy dark orange. Thick if translucent foamy white head. Aroma is citrusy (and pithy) with underlying milky oats. Flavourwise it has sweet tinged sourness (aka sweet citrus), with a more tart edge. Underlying chewy malts and oats. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation provides buoyancy. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable.

Can at home from somewhere. Long day in London that involved an old skool Italian meal and half a bottle of Chablis, so why not have a beer! Good pour and a hell of a lot going on for the abv. A really good beer.

ZZ Top's highest charting album in their own country is not their biggest selling. This session tropical fruit brew with a good citrus base might sell a few too, easy and flavoursome.

Hazy gold with a bright white head. Zest citrus with a touch of batterscotch in the aroma. In the taste delicate, creamy, rather dry with a leading citrus note, bread malts and a bit of a tropical accent. Medium dry ripe citrus finish. Quite good.

Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 2nd August 2024. Hazy pale gold with the shallowest of foam and scant lacing. Muscat grape and citrus in aroma. Sherbet citrus in-mouth with peach and passion fruit. Tangy fruitiness in finish with a dominant lemon note. Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel.

Gravicask, one-half, shared with Finn at St Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2023. Clingy lacing from a fair white head, hazy golden body. Moments of pineapple and lemon on the nose. Quite taste with lemony hops, bread-like malts, and a little tropical touch. Mid-dry ripe citrus ending. Pretty good. (St Albans, 27.09.2023).
