Sampled draft @ Gollem. Clear golden with a small white head. Nose is low popcorn, oily, fruity and low lemon sour. Taste is flowers, low lemon, lemon peel, low candy and nice white grape fruit character. Far subtle and mellow than most examples of this style which suits it very well. The low popcorn and candy notes are a bit odd but overall it is a very solid beer. Far nicer than a fruited version I remember having quite a while back.

Keg a the source, 01/10/16. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a decent off white head. Nose is lemon rind, pissy straw, light acidic nip, grains, damp hay, touch of funk. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, funky licks, citric sherbets, crisp citric rinds, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering rasp. Solid refreshing ’Liner, plenty of flavour for the ABV.

Tap at the brewery. It pours cloudy golden-yellow with no head. The nose is toasty grain, earthy, dull peach/apricot, light barnyard and hay. The taste is crisp, tart, lactic acidity, lemon juice, sour apricot, straw, toasty grain and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty tasty. Aroma is pretty muted, but it tastes decent. Not bad.
