Rich, luscious, fudge, nutty and outright delicious. This imperial stout has a great blend of sweet and salty with a touch of class from bitter cacao. It’s a party!

So many pastry stouts, chocolate nose, some maple, lots of crunchy oat goodness. Boozy as it warms

Can. Beer Stop Dronfield. Almost black. Wisp of tan swede. Nose has caramel and coconut. Biscoff. Taste is super sweet. Some dark chocolate bitterness. Slick and rich with soft carbonation. Big chocolate finish. Yeah it’s ok, but not something to get excited about.

Can at home, thanks to Tips, 25/12/21. Pitch black with a dirty tan cap that dissipates to edgework. Nose is maple syrup, brown sugars, dried fruit rinds, treacle toffee, cocoa powder. Taste comprises maple syrup, toffee fudge, molasses, brown sugar melt, chocolate nesquick, light roast, trace of coconut. Full bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid well balanced pastry affair ... sweet edges but never runs away with the sweetness.

440ml can Sophie's Beer Store. Pitch black appearance, good beige head. Chocolate and coconut aroma, fairly sweet. Good overall, everything presented well to taste, choc chip cookie and coconut coming through nicely with light hints of maple syrup. Very good.
